Oddo hopes for Azzurri chance in 2010 World Cup

Massimo Oddo is hoping to land a spot in Marcello Lippi's squad when selection time comes around for the 2010 World Cup finals.
The Bayern Munich defender, on loan to Germany from AC Milan, told website Calcio 2000 that he hadn't given up hope.


“In all honesty I don't think I will re-enter Lippi's plans because he would have called me like he did with other players,” Oddo confessed.

“However, I will do my best to try and change his opinion by giving my all for Bayern Munich.

“I am enjoying life here and I think the Germany side will be tough to beat at World Cup 2010 - they will be their usual solid selves.”
