Steven N'Zonzi won't take anything for granted at Stoke City.
He stressed he isn't taking it for granted that he and Charlie Adam will form a long-term midfield partnership.
"It was a good game away from home," Nzonzi recalled to The Sentinel. "The team is very strong and had a good shape. As soon as he (Adam) came onto the pitch, I think he gave something good to the team. He has good quality.
"But it is not really my decision if we play together. The manager will decide what is going to happen.
"Whether it is me and Adam, or somebody else, the most important thing is that the team is good."
