The 29-year old Australian international will don the green of the Fury in Saturday evening's derby with fellow newcomer Gold Coast United and he is determined to knock them off.
''They want to go through undefeated and, hell, I'm sure everyone wants to be that first team to beat them - I certainly do,'' Stefanutto said from the Gold Coast yesterday.
''I'll be giving everything to make sure that happens.
''That would be the icing on the cake for this whole week or so, it would be great.''
Stefanutto, who signed from Norwegian club FC Lyn Oslo, added that he knew the next year of his football career was very important with the World Cup fast approaching.
''My chances of making the World Cup are all about what I do over the next 12 months - I don't think it really matters too much which club I'm playing at,'' he added.
