Nottingham Forest have rejected reports linking them with a loan approach for Hull's Wayne Brown. The Championship side are in the market for an experienced defender to shore up their leaky defence and the 31 year old appeared to fit the bill.

But Forest chief executive Mark Arthur has ruled out the possibility of him arriving at the City Ground.

"I don't know where these rumours have come from," Arthur said in the Hull Daily Mail.

"We have no interest in him."
