Notts County boss Ian McParland insists he knows nothing of reports suggesting Sven Goran Eriksson could be set to leave the club. Reports on Friday suggested that the Swede was ready to walk away from his director of football role at Meadow Lane.

"To be honest I have not heard anything," he said.

"I spoke to Sven on Wednesday and had a chat with him.

"He has never mentioned anything to me and I certainly haven't heard anything.

"Nothing surprises me in football, that is how people find it fascinating - but who would have thought Sven would have been at Notts County."
