Nottingham Forest push forward with interest in Burnley winger Cornet

Nottingham Forest are pushing ahead with a bid to secure Maxwel Cornet from Burnley.

The winger, who has a £17.5 million release clause, does not want to play in the Championship.

He is also wanted by Fulham and Everton, but they are proposing initial loan deals.

According to the Daily Mail, Forest are ready to secure Cornet permanently.

The attacker did net nine goals last term, despite Burnley's relegation.

Forest are giving up on the signature of Watford forward Emmanuel Dennis.
