Nottingham Forest defender Scott McKenna admits the chance to play in the Champions League was a big attraction in joining Copenhagen.
McKenna has joined FCK on-loan to June, with a quarterfinal against Manchester City due this month.
The Scot told Bold: "I have thought about the size of the club and the possibility of winning titles and playing in the Champions League.
"There are so many reasons why I wanted to come here. I'm thankful they wanted me too.
"Of course I had seen the Champions League matches earlier in the season, so I knew how good the team was.
"It is not often that in the Premier League you are allowed to play for a title, so I could not say no when I got the opportunity to play for the championship and get playing time."
