Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper praised goalkeeper Dean Henderson for their 1-0 win against Liverpool.
Taiwo Awoniyi struck against his former club for the 1-0 win.
"It was always a game where they would have a lot more of the ball but we did look dangerous on the counter attack and, dare I say, we could have had one or two more. We're feeling very satisfied with our work," said Cooper.
"This is not the end, this has got to be a part of the start. We get back in on Monday and work even harder.
"We've been on a difficult run but, I told the boys, I've not seen them hide, shy away or sulk. I've seen the opposite. That's given me reassurance.
"This is a big win but only a win. We've got to build on that and carry on.
On needing keeper Henderson to produce some superb stops, he added: "To win a game against someone like Liverpool, you need to have very good moments at both ends. We've done that today.
"We scored a good goal from a well-worked set-piece and created other good chances, but Dean made some good saves too."
