Norwich City winger Jacob Murphy is determined to make the most of his loan move to Southend United.
Murphy made his senior debut on the weekend.
"The aim is to push forward. I am here until May 5 and I want to show everyone here and at Norwich what I can do," said Murphy. "Swindon was a really good learning experience for me. I got seven games under my belt and this is hopefully going to push me on again.
"Making my Norwich debut in the FA Cup was also really good experience. It gave me a chance to show what I can do and I need to keep adding to that and this loan spell can help me. Josh is doing really well and on the verge of the first-team so hopefully the experience I get with Southend will move me closer. I just want to play as many games as possible between now and the end of the season and hopefully help this club get promoted."
