Norwich City have snapped up released Hearts midfielder Julien Brellier.
The Frenchman could be joined at Carrow Road by Celtic goalkeeper David Marshall this week, with Norwich assistant manager Jim Duffy revealing that negotiations are progressing.
"I know he had offers from France and an offer from an SPL team, but he has decided to come here. He is not always a player that catches the eye, but is a good team player."
City manager Peter Grant is also hoping to add Marshall to his pool this week as talks continue with Celtic. Duffy added: "We are getting close with that one."
Grant told the club's website: "Julien will be a great asset to us. He plays at a high tempo and likes to get close to the opposition - and he knows when to fill in to free other players to get forward."
