Norwich striker Pukki taking positives from Chelsea loss

Norwich City forward Teemu Pukki prefers to look at the positives after losing to Chelsea 3-1.

In spite of the uncertainty around Chelsea as a football club at present, the players put in a professional and quality display against Norwich away from home on Thursday.

Trevoh Chalobah and Mason Mount gave Chelsea a two goal lead, before Pukki scored, only for Kai Havertz to seal the win.

Pukki stated post-game to PLP: "Of course we can't be happy. The first half was not good enough. The second half we did well but it was not enough. At least we gave ourselves a chance to compete but Chelsea is hard to come back. We can take some good stuff from this to Sunday for sure.

"It's not easy especially against a team like Chelsea to come back from 2-0 so early in the game. We showed some mentality in the second half and gave something for the fans to believe we can do it. It was not good enough but something good for Sunday.

"I saw it when it happened and I was pretty sure it would be a penalty. I was waiting for my chance to come. You need to be calm on penalties. The keeper tried to make it hard for me but I focused on myself and was glad I scored from this situation.

"Every game is huge for us. We need to get points if we want to stay in the league. It will be a big game for both of us on Sunday so we need to be ready."
