Norwich boss Dean Smith praised his players after their 3-0 defeat at Leicester City.
Smith was happy with their performance on Wednesday night.
He said, "We got a better performance but a similar result [to West Ham]. It was a good first half and we more than matched Leicester with both goalkeepers making good saves and us hitting the post.
"We are a team recruited to play possession-based football but sometimes we are going to play teams that have more of the ball and when it is all square we have something to cling on to.
"Once we concede we suffer. We're looking ahead for next season and trying to finish this season as well as we can. As long as we see more of what I saw in the first half I will be okay with that."
