Norwich City boss Paul Lambert says Wolves are paying for sacking Mick McCarthy.
Wanderers have remained in freefall since firing McCarthy last month - picking up just one win in their last 17 games.
Lambert insisted : "Their confidence looks very fragile since Mick left and it was definitely the wrong decision to let Mick go.
"They have now put his No 2, Terry, in charge and he has got a mammoth job on his hands.
"Basically, he has just been thrown in the deep end and now it's a question of whether he is going to sink or swim.
