Norwich City boss Paul Lambert found a positive in defeat at Blackburn Rovers.

One bright spot for Lambert was the return of James Vaughan, who made his first start of the season after suffering from a crippling succession of injuries.

Lambert added: "The one positive thing to come out of the game was that James came back and did really well, because he's had some hard times with injuries.

"His injuries have been quite harsh at times so it's great for him to come back and play. I put a side out that I thought would go and win the game."
