Norwich City boss Chris Hughton is pleased with their capture of Rennes midfielder Alexander Tettey.

Tettey signed for the Canaries last week.

Hughton told Pink 'Un: "He is a high energy player in central midfield - more defensive than offensive and a player who can play a number of roles. He has played as a holding player in a three at club and international level. He played in a two as well last season in France. He has that experience of international football and he speaks good English. Even in the two days he has been here he has settled in well. He is a good lad and we think he will be a good asset."
