Noble rouses West Ham teammates ahead of Cardiff crunch

Mark Noble is moving to rouse his West Ham United teammates after a dismal week.

The Hammers head into the clash at Cardiff Stadium in 19th place and with manager Sam Allardyce under extreme pressure following successive cup thrashings at Nottingham Forest and Manchester City.

Noble told the London Evening Standard: "You just have to get on with it. You can't dwell on it, or feel sorry for yourself, because if you do that you will get punished again.

"We need 11 men going out there tomorrow who are brave and willing to throw their body on the line and give everything for the club.

"I think a lot of things have come at just the wrong time. We are struggling in the League, you go to Forest - and now you can understand why the manager chose to rest some of his senior players - and we got beat in a bad way.

"Then we have gone to City with what you could call a stronger team and got beat comfortably again, so we have just got to pick ourselves up, forget about this and show a bit of pride. We need men to turn up tomorrow and get points for the club."
