No Wigan recall for Hull striker King

On-loan Wigan Athletic striker Marlon King will play out the season with Hull City.

King has been linked with a return to the Latics next month, but his agent says that's unlikely.

Tony Finnegan told the Hull Daily Mail: "Hull have him until the end of the season and he's doing well so I see no reason why Marlon would want to change that agreement.

"He's doing well and he's a big piece of a very good jigsaw puzzle. He's enjoying every day and he's optimistic they will want to get him in full-time."

Despite this, Finnegan insisted there had been no discussions as to whether King's move will be made permanent in January.

"To be honest I have not got a clue what's happening. You never know in football," he said. "The picture has changed dramatically since the start of the season.

"Steve Bruce didn't think he was good enough for the Premier League and he's gone out and proved him wrong.

"There's now a totally different perspective on the situation."
