Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo ran the least of all the starters in Tuesday's Champions League defeat to Schalke.

Real managed to limp into the quarterfinals, despite losing 4-3 at home in Madrid on Tuesday night.

Ronaldo struck twice, but no player from either team ran less who completed the game. He managed to cover 10.2km on the night.

Overall, Schalke's players ran almost 10km more than Real. The German team ran 121.8 kilometres in Madrid, while the hosts ran 112.4 kilometres.
