Chelsea were prepared to SELL midfielder N'Golo Kante this summer, it has been revealed.
In France, it's been claimed Kante and manager Frank Lampard have fallen out in recent weeks amid talk of interest from Antonio Conte's Inter Milan.
And ESPN says Chelsea would've happily cashed in on the World Cup winner if the right offer had arrived before last Monday's transfer deadline.
However, no offer was field by Chelsea - not even from Inter - despite the speculation over the summer.
Lampard is willing to see Kante moved on and replaced by West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, who he sees as the future of Chelsea's midfield.
