Aston Villa have not received any offers for Ron Vlaar according to manager Paul Lambert.
The Dutch defender has been linked with a potential summer move to Lazio but Lambert says there has been no bid forthcoming from the Italian outfit or any other club.
The Villa boss has also spoken out about the public pursuit of Vlaar by new Southampton manager Ronald Koeman.
"There has been absolutely no enquiry, not one iota on it," Lambert told the Daily Mail.
"The only thing I am disappointed in is people talking about him [Vlaar], who should know better than to talk about other people's players.
"I don't think you accept it. I think out of respect you don't do it, you don't get involved in that."
