The agent of Sebastian Giovinco has denied rumours of a winter loan for his client.
Some reports suggest that the Toronto FC forward was set to be loaned to Italian club Lazio in January during the MLS offseason.
However, Giovinco's representative Andrea D'Amico has played down suggestions that the 28-year-old, who has produced a remarkable 22 goals and 16 assists in his debut season at Toronto, was set to return to Serie A anytime soon.
"No. Absolutely not," D'Amico said on Rai Sport's Zona 11 show.
"Giovinco made a decision [to play for Toronto FC] of which he's absolutely convinced and with which he's happy. And on top of that, Toronto FC have invested in him for a project that is not based on single moments or buzz.
"So now they go on vacation and they start preparations again in Florida at the end of January to get ready for the next season and to do even better [than 2014]."
