Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero won't be spending Christmas at home.

Manuel Pellegrini insists he won't let Aguero return home to Argentina for Christmas despite the fact he is sidelined.

He said: "Sergio will stay here, because he needs to recover as soon as possible.

"To travel to South America takes a lot of days and means less time that he can work on his recovery."
