Tottenham have made no contact with Palermo defender Simon Kjaer according to the players father and advisor Jorn.

The 20-year old Denmark international has been linked with a move away from Italy and it seemed Tottenham may be his destination but those rumours have been scuffed by Jorn, saying that the Spurs have not made any contact.

"We haven't heard anything from Tottenham," he told TV2 Sporten.

"And we haven't been informed that Tottenham should be negotiating with Palermo.

"So the only thing we can rely on at the moment is that there is no form of contact."
