Celtic boss Gordon Strachan has not been approached about the vacant managerial position at Sunderland, according to his agent. Strachan has been mentioned as a potential target of the Wearside outfit, but agent Athole Still told Telegraph Sport: "There has neither been an approach from our side nor any approach from Sunderland.

"It's just speculation. Last week it was (Mexico manager) Sven-Goran Eriksson."
