The Mirror is reporting under-17 striker Sani Emmanuel has trialled with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, and both are now keen to bring the young Nigerian to England. Emmanuel was awarded the Golden Ball as the best player in FIFA Under-17 World Cup, leading host country Nigeria to the final, where they fell to Switzerland.
He currently plays with My People in his native country, and it appears that Spurs are in the lead to earn the 17-year-old's signature.
In lieu of a transfer fee, it is said that the Nigerian club would just like to secure a relationship with a Premiership team.
