Sochaux defender Rabiu Afolabi has had offers to join the Premiership when his current deal runs out in June. Reports in France have linked the 29 year old with a move to Aston Villa, Birmingham or Wolves.

"I am a free agent in June. I have so many clubs interested in me," he told skysports.com

"However my preference is to play in the Premier League this is the best league in the world."

Further speculation claims that the Nigerian international has already signed in principle for Premier League new boys Wolves but Afolabi refused to comment.

"I have nothing to say yet," he added. "Nothing is done so let's wait until the end of the season."
