ChampionshipCrystal Palace have taken highly-regarded Newport County midfielder Danny Rose on a week-long trial. The 23 year old started his career with Manchester United before clinching a loan move to Oxford in January 2007, then signing for Newport in the summer of 2008.
A statement on Newport's official website read: "The club can confirm that midfielder Danny Rose has been training with Championship club Crystal Palace this week and will be available for this weekend's FA Cup tie at home to Braintree Town."
