Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul has revealed how former Rangers star Arthur Numan convinced him about a loan move to Falkirk.
Krul kept a clean-sheet on debut and said: "It was a great way to start the season. I'd heard Kasper Schmeichel was at Falkirk last season and I had also been told good things about Falkirk as a club. But the deal was clinched when I spoke to Arthur and he told me it was the right thing to do to go on loan. He told me to show everyone what I could do in Scotland."
