Newcastle won't rule out selling Cisse during Russian market

Newcastle United won't rule out selling Papiss Cisse before the end of the Russian transfer window.

A proposal from Turkey on Monday was knocked back, but with 25 days remaining of the Russian transfer window, United are expecting further interest in the striker.

The Journal says Newcastle sources were adamant yesterday that Cisse, who will be the only senior specialist striker under contract come the summer, will not be sold in the early part of the February transfer window, and that he would be given a chance to strike up a partnership with new boy Luuk de Jong.
