Newcastle winger Yankuba Minteh admits his loan with Feyenoord hasn't been smooth.

Newcastle signed Minteh from OB before loaning him to Feyenoord this season.

"It is different to play in the Netherlands than in Denmark," said the Gambian.

"The sport is much bigger there and it's a different culture with top players in all positions on the pitch.

"Everything is going well so far at Feyenoord.

"It's a good team and I'm surrounded by good people, so it's been a positive start. I try to work as hard as possible every day in training and in the matches."
