Newcastle United youngster Yankuba Minteh is not enjoying the best of loan spells.
Minteh is spending the season at Feyenoord, who won the Dutch Eredivisie last season.
The Gambian, who is only 19, has not scored a league goal since September.
He has been given plenty of chances by Feyenoord boss Arne Slot to find his best form.
“I've seen that in him for some time now. He makes an action, looks threatening, but then the cross has to come and it seems as if he closes his eyes," TV Rijnmond journalist Dennis Kranenburg said.
“I do see the potential in Minteh," fellow journalist Dennis van Eersel added.
"We didn't completely cut him off. He's still very young and Feyenoord didn't pick him up for nothing. He's certainly talented and his work ethic is also good.
“But at the moment I don't think he's good enough for a starting place at Feyenoord."
