Danny Simpson insists this weekend's break has come at a perfect time for Newcastle United after last weekend's 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Tottenham.
The Magpies will play no part in the FA Cup fifth round this weekend after falling to Brighton & Hove Albion in the previous stage and right-back Simpson says it will be good to relax in a bid to get over the disappointing performance at White Hart Lane on Saturday.
"But at the same time, we've got a break and it's been a long, tough season up to now.
"We've done well, and this will give us the chance to refresh ourselves, recharge our batteries and get ready for Wolves (on February 25).""Sometimes you just want to play as soon as you can and get a win under your belt to bounce back," he told the club's official website.
