Newcastle United are watching Hamburg striker Heung-Min Son.
The 19 year-old South Korean forward has struck twice for HSV in recent games and his form has come to the attention of Toon boss Alan Pardew.
Newcastle chief scout Graham Carr, who also identified former Bundesliga stars Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse, has been tracking Son since the New Year, says BILD.
Those close to Son's camp say he is excited by Newcastle's interest and are convinced his outgoing nature would see him settle quickly in the Northeast if Toon were to make their interest concrete.
