Newcastle United must up their bid to land Lyon midfielder Clement Grenier.
Newcastle were last night locked in talks with Lyons in a bid to sign Grenier before tomorrow night's deadline.
Pardew has identified Grenier as Yohan Cabaye's replacement but the French club have rejected Newcastle's £10m bid and are holding out for £13m.
