Newcastle United are set to secure the signing of Kieran Trippier - and then plan on going on a further spending spree.
The Magpies are confident of securing a deal with Atletico Madrid for the England right back, per The Guardian.
Manager Eddie Howe does not want to stop there, as he hopes the Magpies will get him three more players.
They are being linked to Lille's Sven Botman, Burnley's James Tarkowski, and a centre-forward to replace the injured Callum Wilson.
Whether they can have anyone besides Trippier available for their next Premier League game against Watford is another matter, but they do hope to conclude several deals before the window closes on the 31st of January.
