Newcastle United have made a bid for Leeds United winger Jack Harrison.

Foot Mercato says Newcastle have tabled a £35m offer for Harrison in recent days.

Leeds have rejected the proposal, but have left the door open to Newcastle bidding again.

Elland Road chiefs would be willing to sell for £45m.

For his part, Harrison is open to moving to Tyneside, but won't force the issue at his end.
