Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse has completed his move to Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng Taishan in a £5m deal.
The Senegal star's representatives flew to Beijing on Thursday to open talks over a deal that guarantees him £100,000 a week AFTER tax.
The 31-year-old had only a year left on his contract at St James' Park, so Newcastle have decided to cash in on their one-time prolific goal-getter and reinvest the receipts.
A lack of form and fitness have hampered Cisse in recent seasons – he scored only three goals last term as Toon dropped into the Championship for the second time in seven years.
