Newcastle striker Best determined to dump Forest out of Cup
Newcastle United striker Leon Best is gunning for Carling Cup rivals Nottingham Forest.
Best starred for Trent rivals Notts County as a youth player between 2002 and 2004 before joining Southampton and then moving on to Coventry.
He told the Evening Chronicle: “I am a County boy – I have always had an affinity with some Magpies! I used to watch Forest as well, I was a big admirer of Stan Collymore, but I was mainly a County fan.
“I was at Notts County as a kid and the reds are my enemy.”
