Newcastle United striker Shola Ameobi was delighted with his goal in their draw against Sunderland.
He not only ensured Toon's Euro push was kept on course but ended Sunderland's hopes of what would have been their first win on Tyneside for 12 years.
Ameobi said: "It's been a mad week. I haven't been able to train with sickness and I wasn't expecting to be involved today.
"For some reason I tend to score in these games and it's a fantastic feeling."
