Newcastle United are interested in FC Volendam goalkeeper Robbin Ruiter.
Toon boss Alan Pardew is considering Ruiter as long-term cover for fellow Dutchman Tim Krul. Southampton are also interested in the shot-stopper.
The 24 year-old keeper's minders are in contact with both English clubs ahead of the winter market.
