Newcastle United midfielder Vurnon Anita says he is unaware of any deal linking him to Feyenoord.

The 26-year old Dutchman is reportedly the subject of a proposed swap-deal that would see talented youngster Jordy Clasie join the Magpies in the summer with Anita going the other way.

However, the former Ajax man has heard nothing of the like, telling Voetbal International: "That's nothing I know about.

"Playing regularly is my first goal. Now I'd like to stay with Newcastle in the Premier League.

"After this season my contract runs for two more years. I am happy here and basically I'm not leaving."
