Newcastle United are interested in Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso.
The Daily Mail says Newcastle manager Kevin Keegan and assistant Terry McDermott were at Ibrox on Thursday to watch Veloso in action against Rangers.
Veloso, 22, has been linked with Manchester United.
