A return to Newcastle United for Liverpool striker Andy Carroll is back on.

The Mail on Sunday says Newcastle may end up selling Papiss Cisse as he does not want to wear the Wonga.com branding on their shirts.

And that sets up the prospect of Carroll returning as a direct replacement.

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has agreed a £15m deal with Liverpool to make Carroll's loan move permanent - but he is so far stalling on making a decision to see if Newcastle come in for him.
