Newcastle United reserves coach Adam Sadler is delighted with his first season in charge.

He told the Evening Chronicle: "I was absolutely delighted to be given the opportunity to coach the reserves. It was a chance to step up and I've loved every minute of it.

"Hopefully, this is just the start and that it's a long career. Coaching is something I want to stay involved in.

"I love this club being a Geordie boy and I want to go on and on. I want to stay at this club as long as I can. If I can do that I will be delighted."
