Newcastle plan cash offer for Man Utd outcast Van de Beek

Newcastle United are ready to BUY Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek in January.

That's according to Turkish transfer expert Ekrem Konur, via Le 10 Sport, who says Newcastle's new owners are planning a cash offer for the Dutchman.

Newcastle believe they can land Van de Beek for €20m when the market reopens in January.

The midfielder has only just changed agents as he plans to leave United in midseason.

Along with Newcastle, Wolves and Everton, which were blocked from taking Van de Beek on-loan in August, are also keen.

With United last season, Van de Beek managed 36 appearances, scoring once. He has a contract with the Premier League giants to 2025. However this season, Van de Beek has had one start in the Carabao Cup.

With his struggles at Old Trafford, the midfielder has not been considered for Louis van Gaal's first two Holland squads since his appointment after the Euros.
