Newcastle United have kicked off talks with Loic Remy about a permanent deal.
The Daily Star Sunday says Newcastle have opened negotiations with Remy's representatives about a permanent move this summer for the on-loan QPR striker, 27.
The Frenchman has at least five offers on the table for next season.
