Newcastle United No2 Chris Hughton praised Danny Guthrie for the way he handled Hull City's fans during their FA Cup stalemate.
The Toon midfielder was booed every time he touched the ball by Hull City fans, who were still angry after Guthrie's horror tackle on Craig Fagan left the player with a broken leg last September.
"Danny kept his focus well and played his football," Hughton told the Evening Chronicle. "He's a good professional.
"He knows these things happen in football, and you're going to get some crowds that go for us, and some are going to be against you.
"He was very vocal and focused and involved in most things."
