Newcastle United are ready to cash in on striker Dwight Gayle.

While manager Steve Bruce wants to keep Gayle at the club, he accepts that he may have to cash in on his frontman to secure funds for other signings.

The Telegraph says Newcastle have put a £15 million price tag on Gayle for the January transfer window.

Primary interest is likely to come from Championship sides, but the high fee may put them off.

Newcastle are not considering letting Gayle leave on loan.

The 29-year-old has played in four Premier League games, all off the bench, and not scored a single goal this season.
