Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote has been offered to Arsenal.
Agents on behalf of Tiote have been in touch with the Gunners about a move before tomorrow's deadline.
But the Daily Mail says Arsenal have decided against pursuing a move for the defensive midfielder.
Arsene Wenger was reported to be chasing a player in that position, but having secured Krystian Bielik earlier in the transfer window, he could hold out until the summer.
Tiote was offered to Wenger for a price of £12 million.
