Newcastle United midfielder Matt Ritchie has apologised to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after blanking the Arsenal striker on Sunday.
At the final whistle, Aubameyang moved to congratulate Ritchie only for the Scot to seemingly ignore his pleasantries and high-five Ayoze Perez instead after the Toon win.
“I can only apologise," Ritchie told talkSPORT.
“Honestly, I didn't see him there in the corner of my eye even though in the video it looks like I did.
“I was focused on Ayoze and it was not intentional."
